1968-d error Lincoln cent

    Sure.. It is unfortunately damaged.
    Looks like what is considered a Dryer coin. It was damaged when it became trapped between the drum and the wall and it tumbled for a long time together with extreme heat damage.
    Not a mint error of any kind.

    The coin was left in a pocket, the pants were thrown in the washer, then, as they dried in the dryer, the coin slipped out. It rattled around in the dryer cycle after cycle until it was found and taken out. That's how these happen.

    ...there are many people with eighth grade education who have surmounted their disadvantages and taught themselves proper grammar. In fact, grammar is taught before 8th grade...and, it is “...started collecting...”...jmho...Spark
