This coin is pretty badly beaten up, so I'm thinking this is just mashed letters on the 'N' 'E' and 'Y' but that raised spot in the 'D' makes me wonder if there's a die chip there. Even if it's a chip it's so tiny it's almost not worth noting, but thought I'd use this as a learning experience. Thoughts? Thanks for any opinions. I don't see any die chips. Be that as it may, die chips are about as common as pigeon doo-doo on a New York City statue. However, if you really want to see a bunch of die chips on one specific coin design, you might want to search a Mint bag of 2005 CA SQ's.
