Help Dating Safavid Mithqal

    Hi Everyone,

    The below has been cataloged as having been minted in year 986(Islamic Calendar) and in the Iranian City of Hamadan. Can anyone circle/pinpoint the bit of calligraphy which attests to both those aforementioned attributes. My knowledge of Arabic is a little lacking to say the least :)

    The last line of the left image reads:
    ۹۸۶ همدان‎ ضرب
    "struck Hamadan 986".

    When I first read the title, I thought Safavid Mithqal was a 40 year old virgin. :smuggrin:
