You are going to have to teach me this method. I think he has enough for both of us. To the OP - the only thing I have is what I find in my change. Some star note, 1 web note, 1 true radar note. Same way I do modern coinage(nickels, dimes, pennies). But I will gladly admit I do so like looking at RickieB's posts and collection. It is inspirational.
Naturally they are not kept in your home. I merely meant to provide a bit of humor, seeing as how I would never be able to acquire notes of the quality of those in your collection. I know we have not spoken much on the forums, but since I've joined here I've admired the quality of the notes you have posted. I do not currently collect currency, but I am still envious of the high quality of the beautiful collection you have managed to assemble.
very seldom do I buy currency, but when I do, it is something cool I have found in circulation, or something that really caught my eye.
And that my friend is exactly how I took it..:smile... no worries I was poking fun as well. Thanks for the complements...it has been a lot of hard work. :computer: RickieB
Being a noob at coin and currency collecting, I'd describe myself as "undisciplined". By that I mean that everything is all new to me. Consequently, I end up buying coins and currency that catch my eye. For now, in regards to currency, I'm trying to build up a collection of large size notes, as well as silver and gold certificates. I like the older large notes as the artwork is really a wonder to behold. They really told a story. I suppose as I become a more "sophisticated" collector, I'll narrow it down to specific items - but for now, I'm like a kid in a candy store.
I narrowed down to $2 and $5 Small Sized FRN's. Wanted to do $10's - but just too much to focus on with three note types.
