What's this album toned Morgan worth?

I got this in this morning in a group of silver dollars I bought from an eBay seller who I have developed an ongoing business relationship with. I like it and I know some folks attach a premium to them if they are NT and not AT.

There are a couple more toned Morgans in the lot, but 2 others have been cleaned. There's an 1883 that's a lovely peacock blue....but it's obviously been cleaned. This one looks completely natural to me. It's the most attractive to me.

    Thanks in advance...

I'm not really one who would pay extra for a toned Morgan although I realize that there is a demand for them. It's hard to tell by the photo if its NT or not and there is some bag marks on the neck, cheek and chin. I would not give it any premium value. Thus assuming a low BU, maybe about $40.

The collection that this was in just came out of an attic where it was stored for the last couple decades, and toned coins weren't a commodity then. I've no reservations as to whether its natural or not. I didn't pay a premium for it, but I know some people like them.

85-P is among the most common dates, and the Grey Sheet has it at $37 in MS-63. It might bring a modest premium for nice toning if it were in a top-tier TPG slab, but raw, I think that b.j. is right, about $40, max.

I don't think this would even make a mint state grade. Far to much wear on the reverse. The obverse is very heavily marked. Come on folks. As for the "toning" factor, it's a so-so specimen. A good comparison coin for grading lessons.

I'd say it's an AU55. And the toning, while attractive, is certainly nothing special and would demand no premium. Value, $20-$25 tops.

I don't think the coin would even make that Doug. Perhaps XF.

I agree with Doug, I would say AU55, maybe a chance at 58, and it's worth around $25.

It was just about....but not quite free. I have 1.45 in it.

Just kidding. I paid 17.50 per coin for 30 coins. It's the coins from the collection I bought last week that my cost basis is 1.45 per coin. That number drops to 1.30 per coin if you count the copper I'm going to keep.

And I honestly couldn't tell whether or not it's AU or MS from the pics provided, but that's mainly because I was Just Plain Stupid, and made comments based on the thumbnails without blowing them up. Once I did that, your more conservative grades are inarguably correct.
