Found this in the reject bin in the coin machine at Wegmans. Seems to match CU-1c-1988-15 on cuds on coins website. Not in the greatest shape, but as my first cud I will gladly take it. Seems wear has worn the cud flat

There's a lot of good detail left on that cent. It might have gone thru the washing machine at least once but really didn't see much circulation.
    Nice find!

I'm certainly no expert, but to me, something doesn't ring true as a cud. Just a instant gut feeling. I'd love for @Fred Weinberg and other experts to chime in and educate me.

Okay, I just compared it to the photo of 1988-15 and it matches perfectly, so I guess I must apologize once again. Nice find no matter what.
I've come to rely on my first impression, or gut feeling, but I guess I ate something that just didn't agree with me last night. LOL

Something happened on the reverse as well?

Thank you all for your responses. Nice to find something worth posting . Has been a rough past year to find coins to search let alone find anything good. As for the reverse, if I am not mistaken, the metal forming the cud has to come from somewhere. So the lack of detail on the reverse is from the metal flowing to the cud in the front. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. Once again, thanks all for the responses .
