Hi my friends at CoinTalk, I hope your all doing great. I just want to post this picture so everyone knows what this most sought after penny looks like. Mine is the one that is scared up. Ken Potters is the one on the rt. You should be able to determine large date from small date with this pic. Thnx. Mr. Ken Potter tried to make me believe that mine is a large date. He's just another hater. I cant believe that he thought I am that stupid. All you have to do is look. Thank you all.
If you cannot fit another 2 at the end of the date it is large date. Your coin is large date (with a 2 distorted from damage).
Yet another post about the same coin. The 2 took a hit and moved metal. The top of the 8 is wrong for a small date. Yes, I can believe anyone would be incredulous at your totally misinformed claim and if you think that people are saying you are stupid, well, how can I disagree. And by the way, we are not haters for not giving you the answer you are so desperate for, we are just giving the truth and the means to learn, but I guess you don't want to learn, just get a fast buck
I don't know why you keep posting this coin. Even with the 2 being damaged, the shape of the 8 and location of the 2 in relation to the rim show that it's a large date. The only way to prove that you have the rarity is to send it to TPG for authentication. You don't have to prove it to CT, you need to prove it to any dealer, auction house, or collector that would want to buy it. If you really want to show us we're wrong, send it in. Continuing to post pics does nothing more than dump you into the troll category. @Cointop Smith ...CoinTalk members will continue to help those who are willing to listen and learn...apparently, you aren't willing to do either of those...imo...Spark
perhaps there needs to be a "not sure error variety" forum. Or a sticky forum for newbies to ask newbie questions. And if they keep arguing even though they were wrong they get a point taken away.
I'm throwing the white flag in friends. There's to much uncertainty with many of you great folks. All I know is what I see peoples. If some cant look at the picture I post and see what a large date from a small date then I'm out. I hope all of you continue your interest in ur doin hobbies. Thank you all for your time. I wont bother y'all anymore. Peace my friends. Stay safe and "Keep on Smilin"
Actually Paddyman98 said it was a large date in your other thread. If you are convinced, simply send it to one of the major third party graders for attribution.
Hard for me to tell the difference between a genuine diamond, and cubic zirconium. So, every small piece of clear glass I find is automatically assumed to be a rare diamond, and those folks at the GIA are too ignorant to see the difference. CtS - I get it.
I'd bet that mr. Paddyman98 done changed his opinion about this penny as well, Aye? You all are flip flopping around like fish on hot blacktop. You all dont know as much as you let on here. Your all very dishonest and pitiful kind of people on this board. I never thought that you all would be like this. I dont mind disagreeing with one another, but you guys are very rude. Not one of you said well just to be sure go ahead and do what you gotta do to show everyone. In other words shown some encouragement toward the person. No matter your belief. You all could have a lot more fun and be happy instead of grumpy and hateful all the time. I'm out. Peace to you all. Be Happy Paddy
