    I recently received these 2 dimes in changed. A bit surprised as both are showing colorful toning. The dime on top is a 2017-P with slight brown and dark purple toning. The reverse is dark blue, purple and orange toning.

    The bottom dime is a 2006-P with a rose and orange color. The black spot on top of and behind his head is actually a dark blue and deep red toning that I can’t pickup on my cell phone camera. The reverse is toned an orange, red and dull yellow.

    Both coins look much better in hand than in these photos. Just a shock to receive them as change. Both were from the same store.

    Unique toning!!! I've never seen any quite like that before!!! Nice finds for change!!!

    Exactly the way I felt. The colors that I’m seeing are, for the most part, the same colors one sees on naturally toned coins.
