What Coin Are You Asking "Santa" for This Year?

Realistically, if you do trust others to purchase coins for your collection, what are you hoping to get in your stocking for Christmas this year? I strictly ask for mint products because A. I know that I can return them if necessary, B. I don't have to rely on a novice's grading abilities, and C. Uncle Sam looks more like Santa than anyone else I can think of.

Given all that, I'm asking Santa for a 2009 Gold Buffalo coin. :goofer:

Given that I would have to trust a family member to purchase it for me, it would have to be some sort of bullion. 100 ounce silver bars are 100 ounce silver bars, granted they still have to actually be silver :goofer:

Yeah, those Mexican silver coins are cool. I just bought a set of the BU and they are great.

You still need the 2 oz., 5 oz. and 1 kilo proof though to have the complete set ;) Those go for a big premium over spot though, but they are really cool. :D

I need a 1909-S VDB Lincoln cent grading Good-Very Good in a PCGS, NGC, ANACS, SEGS, or ICG slab. Please, Santa....I think I've been a good boy this year ;-)

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, all!

I'd love something like an 1872-S quarter in well circulated condition.

My sweetheart asked me about coins, but I told her that a big part of the fun for me was to buy them myself.

I've asked my daughters, who I'm flying back to the east coast from Washington state, to bring back good circulation coins from 2008 and 2009 with the "D" mint mark. I'm really getting bothered by the open slots in my albums.

I could ask for coins, but I'd keel over dead from shock if someone in my family actually bought me a coin for any occasion. I'm more likely to get socks :(

Oh Santa please bring me a Roman 31 BC Denarius of Marc Anthony and his legions in EF condition or better. Last coinage of the Roman Republic. I have been a good girl and promise not to eat all the yellow snow this year. Traci

I hate to say this - I never ask for coins from my family since most are more expensive than they should spend on me. I would never turn anything down no matter what they bought, but in reality they kind of refuse to buy me anything coin related - except my father of course. This year I plan on getting myself a couple of coins. :)

Believe it or not, NONE whatsoever.
I do not wish any specific coin at this time, and I frankly believe I have more than enough.
I have instructed my family as well - much to my wife's relief!
