    Not a lot has been said about the V Nickel . I just love the design on this underrated Coin .
    Mine here is obviously a 1883 ( No Cents) graded MS-61 . What's going on with that area off to her forehead ? One Expert said maybe a Lamination issue , some say otherwise . What's your advice ??

    Josh was a death-mute that was considered the culprit that passed the gold plated nickels to businesses. He never claimed they were $5.00 gold pieces, but never told retailers the coin was $0.05, instead of $5.00. Thus the term; you are Joshing me arose from his participation in the scheme.

    1909 "With Cents" type. The 1909 is the most common Proof Liberty Nickel.
