Please remember what people have explained repeatedly about its not being polite to start more than a couple of new threads in any 24-hour period. Especially if they're just "please identify this one coin" threads. There are only 20 threads on the front page at any given time, and all you succeed in doing with more than a couple of new threads per day is knocking other people's threads -- some of which take many hours to research and write -- onto the second page, where they get ignored and forgotten.

Going to abstain from positive identification as per the judicious comment by DonnaML, but will say, looks wrong to me.

I have only been interested in ancient coins very recently. I’ve collected for over 60 years so they are very new to me and I’m having difficulty in understanding them.
I have been a CT member for just under 6 years and I’ve hardly posted anything on the Ancients thread. I apologize if I upset you in any way but I like to have my coins identified. I do not feel a few posts to do so is unreasonable in any way or fashion. By identifying a coin, we learn and I’m trying.
So for the future I will be posting less in this forum than I have in the past. I have never heard of only a couple of new threads per day and you are the first member to suggest that I’m being rude. I know you didn’t mean to but you have really upset me. All I wanted was a little help. Good day and thank you to those who have taken the time to assist me.

As I understand these are heavily faked, and this has very sharp details.

I don't believe the Judaean war prutot are often faked. They are in the $50 to $60 range even in decent shape.

I'll lighten it up a bit. The second photo looks like an ancient Canadian Maple Leaf. That's all I know about it and that ain't right. LOL.

    LOL.
As for what Donna said, it makes sense to me, that one shouldn't create more than 2 threads, during any 24 hour period, so that people's threads don't get pushed to the 2nd page of threads too quickly. The rule doesn't seem to be in the Coin Talk Rules, unless I missed it, but such a rule makes sense to me.

Somehow it looks different to me. I just don’t know very much when it comes to ancients. I’ll keep them all and hopefully I’ll be able to study them and learn more. Thanks for your help.

We have been corrected. It’s an ancient grape leaf and that makes sense. Lol

@tartanhill these are in fact faked - not a matter of per-unit value, but rather a volume thing. They are popular and sell well, that is why I wanted a look at the edge - something looks off in the detail of this example.

There are some of these tourist trap fakes available, so you are correct. But the ones I've seen would fool no one. Some are even marked "copy" on them.

Granted the pictures are poor but nothing makes me suspect these are fake but I could always be wrong.
