Welcome to CT @Faith McLaughlin. Your dime is PMD, post mint damage, meaning it was damaged AFTER it left the mint, so not an error. It appears to have two different types of damage; one from the rolling machine (damage in the lower letters on LIBERTY) and another circular mark that could have been caused by a coin operated machine, or who knows what. NAV, no added value, meaning it is just a dime and worth 10¢. Good luck on future finds.

That Cent was somehow crushed and some of the Copper plating scraped off exposing the inner Zinc. That did not occur during the minting of the coin. Cents from mid 1982 until now are Copper plated zinc planchets. Hehe.. Did I just quote my own self? Weird! No coffee yet people
