Despite having to deal with crappy people regularly, working in retail certainly has its benefits.

    1. An assortment of new 2021 Washington Crossing the Delaware Quarters. I'll probably be adding these to my Numista swaplist.

    2. A 2017 $1 Federal Reserve Note with an extremely low serial number.

    3. A trio of pre-1955 Jefferson Nickels.

Outstanding finds! I saw a bunch of the new Washingtons today too. They are officially in circulation in my neck of the woods.

It feels good to be in the right place at the right time. That note is a great find

The sawbuck has some value to it with that low SN and decent condition.

Unfortunately, there's a light crease down the middle, but it's a nice find nonetheless.

It's a slang term often used in reference to $10 bills. However, that term is also sometimes applied to the Series of 1874, 1875, 1878, 1880, and 1917 $1 Legal Tender Notes if I recall correctly.

They look much better in person; I'll tell you that. In my opinion, that design is probably one of the best put out by the U.S. in the past few decades. However, my only quibble is that the font used for the date just doesn't seem right. To that end, the relief on the obverse is much more noticeable than on the Washington Quarters issued during the 80s/90s.

I've never heard the term "sawbuck" applied to a modern Federal Reserve Note. Perhaps, @scottishmoney could give you a better answer than me.
