Read rhe rules in the very first post by @lordmarcovan please. Here I will make it easy for you. I'll post an 1861 US three cent piece. Now your German 1861 thaler can be played and then it is any 1861 OR any German coin. Does that work for you?

Plying off the German States coin, here is my Prussia Vereinsthaler 1862.

 

I believe the rules state that US coins are acceptable.

First, a correction. My coin was an eagle, not a double eagle. Sorry. Second - SWEET Carson City Morgans; I do not think I have anything from Carson City. Third - as much as some folks don't like it, the US is actually part of this world. Fourth, nice Muldenhütten Mint five-mark, coin_nut!
