Do you happen to have a way to get an up-close picture that is not blurry? Perhaps thru a microscope or a loupe? I can't see anything with that pic...:(

The doubling is in each letter of the word "LIBERTY", it is also present in the word "IN", the word "WE", and the word "TRUST". Ive attached a link to the original post, included is many pictures from different angles with different light settings, of the obverse and reverse of the coin. Any questions will be glady answered. Thanks

You can click on each picture included in the link. If you look through all the photos I tried to get every angle to cover my bases. You may be able to zoom in once you click on any of the photos

Look like MD (Machine Doubling) to me, not a true Doubled Die variety...
Fairly common, and normally not worth more than face value

Machine Doubling (also called mechanical doubling, shift doubling, or strike doubling) is very different from Die Doubling. Machine doubling is created when the die shifts slightly as a coin is being struck. Machine doubling is the result of loose mechanical parts that cause a poor strike. Die Doubling is when the coin actually gets struck more than once.

That's die deterioration, Not a DDO.
For future please just upload the photos here. Most of the members will not open a link.

Looks like a grease strike-through on the date as well, interesting.

I disagree. Machine doubling takes away from the original letter and will leave the "doubling" flat. Its clear in the pictures that there are two edges in each of the letters if you take time and examine them

I disagree. If youll examine each photo you'll see two clear edges of each letter. Particularly with the R, but they all have it im sure

You have a classic example of DDD. Die deterioration doubling.
This is a form of worthless doubling.

I see a touch of die deterioration and machine/ejection doubling.

I did. You can put it in a flip and mark it DDD. So that you have a reference, or you can spend it.

Still holding to my earlier analysis, MD or possible DDD

This looks more like the doubling on your coin

Your photos are mostly blurry but the somewhat clear ones do not show actual doubling IMO. I'm seeing more die deterioration doubling if anything.
