I have recieved 3 1934-C $10 Silver Certificates. The are in a plastic sleeve and have not been handled. I have no idea what they are worth but have become disabled and need to raise as much money as I can for a medical precedure. Anyone that can help would be great. I can take a picture if needed. Thanks in advance Chad
How did you receive them? You can always go to www.ha.com to look at Auction archives for current sales info. Good luck. RickieB
2 Years ago my grandfather was in the hospital with liver cancer. Before he passed he gave me some pawn tickets. These were in the pawn shop and had been there since 1983. They had lent him face value on them at that time. Owner said "your grandfather always told me I was safer than the bank".
they look like they are in fairly decent shape. in GEM they book for $225 a piece and in CHCU they go for about $125 a piece. if you could get a little closer pics i could tell which one they grade out as. the centering looks pretty good and the corners look nice so they might fall in between the 2 values. hope that helps.
Very nice notes! You dont see many in that good of shape anymore Sentimental value outway,s there $$$ value for sure
What he said, Nice looking notes - keep them in the sleeves and protect those edges and corners. Thanks for sharing - Good Luck!
I took some hi res pics but photo bucket says they are 2 big to host there.. 6.4 megs per pic. If you know another host that allows larger sizes let me know or I can email them to you. Thanks for all the help guys
you can shrink it down a little bit and we can still see the details. here is one i have. this image is 1.48 megs and you can see all the detail. this is also a GEM note so maybe you can use it as a point of reference for yours. after looking at your pictures again against mine i would say they are leaning closer to GEM:thumb: its also to bad you dont have the note in between the 2nd and 3rd notes you posted. consecutive notes always seem to get a better premium especially in the condition you have them in
nice notes! I would follow RickieB's advice - check out Heritage archives for pricing. Good luck with your plans!
Thanks . I hope to get this taken care of soon. I blew my knee out last week. This is the second time since 93. My insurance is claiming pre existing condition. I have to pay for the MRI and 25% of the surgery up front. It is not like I am dying just liquidating.
