Who collects 3 cent nickels ?

They're beautiful...
I have a few and only in high grade.
1 is mildly off-center or MAD.
I love the old small designs.

Well..here they are..not nearly as nice as the other ones posted here..but they have sentimental value..if not collectible value!

 

You guys are really tempting me. I've got to have one o' these for my collection....

 

These are the only 3-cent coins I have plus a 1881 on the second page of the album. I have never added any coins to this series and I doubt that I ever will.

 

You could add the 1870 and 1876 without too much trouble but then everything else after that is tough.

 

True. That third page is a bear! The first page of this album is 2 cent coins and I only have two poor quality examples of those. You might be able to tell how excited I am about this series eh?

I recently acquired my very first nickle 3 cent piece. After 50 years of collecting, i finally gave the coin a good once over. Gosh, I liked it !!! My first and only one is the common first year 1865. Guess an old dog can learn new tricks. Traci
