I picked this up at an auction Sunday night. what would you grade it.I not sure but I think large letter R-121????
by R-121, I presume that you mean O-121 (for Overton), and no it is not 121, the branch over the C on the reverse is too far right for the 121. Also, the I in Pluribus is to the right, in the book it is to the left. so, not reverse U, also look at the center of the 3, the center point is too blunt and long for the Obverse 18. I try some more, but it is a tough year to check, I hate the 1834, very tough year.
Jello: I didn't notice that it was you. Tough date. I think that it is O-111, obverse 10, rev K. It is an R-1.
My pleasure. But-------- I always re-check it in a day or two, just to be sure. I have screwed up before. Jim: Where are ya to check on me?
Your correct Frank. The giveaway on the O-111 is the second T in Trust tipping to the left. As for Grade. VG with scratch on reverse. More of the same can be seen here: http://coinzip.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=1834b&action=display&thread=1937
