1834 Bust half to grade

    I picked this up at an auction Sunday night. what would you grade it.I not sure but I think large letter R-121????

    by R-121, I presume that you mean O-121 (for Overton), and no it is not 121, the branch over the C on the reverse is too far right for the 121.

    Also, the I in Pluribus is to the right, in the book it is to the left.

    so, not reverse U, also look at the center of the 3, the center point is too blunt and long for the Obverse 18.

    I try some more, but it is a tough year to check, I hate the 1834, very tough year.

    Yes frank I have most of my Book packed up.what if and Overton# do you think it is????

    Tough date.


    I think that it is O-111, obverse 10, rev K.

    It is an R-1.

    OK OK.. So the Jamez meister made a typo.. LOL.. but trust has two t's too!

    How long did you look for the word trust on the coin ? LOL...

    I think it's a solid F using the Bonedigger grading system for bust halves.
