Please don't take this wrong, We have a few members on here that like to pour on the advice and can't handle when someone argues with them. The statement then turns into this is my specialty, and you are a moron for not taking my advice.
I get it, it is easy for us to think that the new OP should just take our advice. When I find myself in that position it is easier to just take a break. Let another member take the lead and prove your point. Getting mad helps no one, it sure doesn't help your health. And it is definitely not a good look to the rest of the CT family. Rarely does a question go unanswered. We all should be standing for the educational side of this forum. Let the noob who really doesn't want to learn act out. Their is absolutely no reason to get our blood pressure up over a new OP that just wants a participation trophy.

No - but there is THIS sentence from you that supports aprehensions. You're a nice guy, don't get me wrong. I just wouldn't want to play lord of the flies with you.... or duck duck goose.

Which side goes off the subject and into personalities? There's where the trouble starts. Isn't it?

Stick to the subject. Don't go off the rails, and into personalities. When the other side opens the door to that, let them have it, or just back down, it's your choice, who's to judge which is the "better" choice?

It's the choice you made to interpret it literally that opened up the "apprehensions." Don't you understand that? There's a whole other choice out there you didn't make, that being, to interpret it metaphorically, as it was intended. Why didn't you? There's what you should be asking.

And BTW, FWIW, I think you're a nice guy, too. I mean, as far as nice guys go...

No - it is just reading the sentence(s). And not just one example. Written words are funny that way. You read them and they have specific meaning. I didn't say anything about your psycological health status. That is your personal business between you and your doctors. I always wish you the best of health and prosperity.

I did. You describe newbies as people toting brats down their driveways. That is a difficult approach to newbies to the hobby or to the forum...

I thought it was long winding sentences that don't pass the "Turing" test that cause my aprehensions. Others might differ.

I have no tolerance for bullies in any way, shape, or form. If an individual here (or anywhere else) comes off as a bully, I put them on an ignore list. I've dealt with enough bullies in my lifetime. Then I got bigger and stronger and quicker, and after I beat the tar out of a few of them, they all left me alone. If a question from a newbie bothers you, ignore their post. It's as simple as that. If you want to actually help the OP, then, by all means, do it, but in a kind fashion and supply them with a link as some here have suggested. They'll either learn or they won't. Just my humble opinion.

Well thank you. I think that's very nice of you to say. BTW, that's "psychological," not "psycological."
Well lol. Now dropping them off at the day care center is interpreted as toting them down their driveways. But I suppose I should have seen this coming. I mean your not being able to spell correctly raising apprehensions one is dealing with illiteracy, how can one assume you'd even have the capacity to understand what a "metaphor" is? It is a big word, after all.
BTW, that's "apprehensions," not "aprehensions." Although it is an improvement over "curtisy" for "courtesy" and "silense" for "silence," FWIW.

PS: Your PM isn't working. I tried to PM you, in lieu of this.

My spelling is atrocious and English is only one of 4 languages I speak and read in. It is true. But that doesn't have anything to do with the problem of your sentences getting longer and more difficult to follow as you get more and more excited. And you seem very excited at the moment.

Children are innocent bystanders in all matters of numismatics. Try to be kind to the "brats", as well as their coin lusting parents (walking down the driveway).

Eddie, you haven't been intentionally dropping Roster Dimes with machine doubling on the driveways of brat breeders across America, just as a social experiment, have you?

Ah - yes. The random silent 'h' in English writing. It is a killer, but WTH, OMG, FYI TTL ASAP. PITR.
