Hi my friends at CT, I hope y'all are doing great. I wanted to post a couple pics of this penny again. Some of you were saying that it is small date, large date. And Paddyman wanted to see it out of the bubble and the reverse. And also some wanted to see it on a scale. So I hope this clears up some discrepancy between y'all folks. It is the 3rd 1982D small date copper penny discovered. No dis respect to anybody's opinion. Haters aren't allowed here either. Peace my friends
Those pictures are not great, no offense. Without even realizing you were the one who posted the last thread...The first picture looked like a large date copper 82 to me. The 2nd closer picture is too blurry. Until you have good pictures, my opinion is the same. Large date. If this is the 3rd like you say, send it in to a TPG and show us proof afterwards. @paddyman98 what say you with the new "evidence"?
Agree with the frog. IMO, concerning your coin, the top loop on the 8 of the date is too large to be small date. The weight is good for a standard brass D large date as well. Note the below pics from pcgs.com the differences in the top loops of the eights. Yours seems to correspond with the large date pic.
Your first image tells it all. It is not a small date. It's a piece of junk. Yes, I'm a hater! So what! PS. You need to improve your photographic skills.
Definitely a large date, but if you are convinced then you should have it attributed at one of the major third party graders.
