My first EVER Coinstar silver find happened about 5 minutes ago at a local grocery store...Only 80% but I'll gladly take it

Got some Loomis rolls from Chase today and one of my regular tellers (who actually likes seeing the photos of my finds!) told me that someone from a small business just gave her 3 rolls of quarters... I said yes :D

They are still out there...just a couple coins in I got my first Tallgrass W :)
A bit circulated but also it's my first W find in a customer roll so that was neato!

There was also a really nice Tuskegee in there...haven't seen the Washington Crossing the Delaware yet... but I have a bunch of Loomis quarter rolls to open tomorrow :p

Unbelievable…just got 8 silver eagles at face value from the teller’s drawer!

Couldn’t believe my eyes when she was pulling them out. When she said “I’ve got some big dollars” I assumed she meant Ikes (which I would have been perfectly happy with). Can’t believe someone turned these in for $8!

@Poseidon89 great find! I have looked through about $4K in Ikes over the last 6 years and found only 3 ASE's (which I thought was pretty good), so you did FANTASTIC!

Meow thinks certain issues can be very hard if not originally distributed in ones area. Meow has pawed only one quarter with the guy painting. It was found CRH a month or so ago. So considering that, expecting to find a W one of those may be alarmingly impossible.

Good luck. The rolls in Meow's area were blanks. Went through about $1200 in BU rolls of those. Some had Tallgrass Ws in them along with a few Ds. But zero Tuskegee Ws. Someone has to have some Ws in their rolls.

@MeowtheKitty: Tallgrass was last issue to have a W mint mark.

P.s I was right behind you today. 20210430_134906.jpg

@MeowtheKitty There are no Tuskegee W's.
I'm sad about that. Looking for W's is fun!
