    Beautiful to me Morgan Man..1934A Set

    Hey Morgan Man

    This is not overly pretty to most people, but it is a beauty to me...Not as pretty as the Large Size notes...but a nice 1934A Set none the less.. enjoy..just posted the fronts to save sanning and processing time.

    I'll tell you though..the French Notes are really really nice as well.
    What beautiful pastel colors they used on some great landscape work.

    I think the interesting thing about the Flameng note is it actually started life in 1897 as a 1000 Franc note that made it to essai stage and never went any further. Then in 1918 it made it to the 5000 Franc note which was printed, but not circulated until 1938 and in small quantity. One wonders that there was someone like me that wanted to circulate the note, but there was the gendarmie that kept poo pooing the idea.

    I love it merely for the art, the contrasting expressions are priceless, ranging from complete disinterest and boredom, to passionate.
