Someone didn’t want to take the time to create a potty dollar so they started on a half dime. Only thing is, they gave up on that as well. Not much ambition I’d say.
Someone was bored, but I'd venture to say it was done back when that coin was plentiful and only worth a half dime to someone.
Wish they had finished it. The half dime is the only denomination of Seated coinage that I haven't seen made into a "potty".
Sure would have been nice if they had. I think I would have been happy if they had just made the chamber pot.
