Finally after years of searching I have found my first rotated die and of all places it was in a roll I have had for a long time. I know the pics aren't great but I don't have an great light source at the moment. I believe it is a 170 degree rotation. What do you all think. 20210421_122233~2.jpg 20210421_122252~2.jpg

Cool! However, if it hadn't been for the misalignment of the two halves of the 2x2, it would be harder for some people to fathom. May I suggest, that the next time you use just three staples, one for each of the open edges of the 2x2.

By the way, don't forget to flatten the points of the staples so you don't accidentally damage another coin.

Hmm, don't know but those staples need to be crimped . ;)

When posting photos of possible rotation, getting a good photo in front of a mirror to show the rotation is usually the best.

I just call it 10 degrees to the left. I know that doesn't capture how out of alignment the dies really were...

I have never taken a photo of a coin in front of a mirror. I tried a few times before I went to work and failed miserably but I'll try again later.

OP - if you flip the coin over, top to bottom,
is the reverse pointing to 11:00???
or is it pointing to 7:00 or 5:00 ?

Fred, it looks like he flipped it horizontally (east to west). Check out the overlap of the 2x2.

If I flip it horizontal. Im not sure which way you should turn it for rotated die. 20210421_173030.jpg 20210421_173109.jpg
