I've been out of the hobby for around 13 years and have recently found time to get back in. The last coin price magazine I had was "Coin Prices" which I liked because it showed pictures of all the coins, showed mintage numbers and gave a rough value. I went to the store to pick up a fresh copy and all I could find was a magazine called "Coins". It shows no pictures, mintage numbers, bullion, paper or popular foreign coins. Is the 'Coins" magazine all that's left for a hard copy magazine? Is the a book (red/blue/black) that's worth getting. I like to use these as a rough guide when looking through coin lots. ThanX!
I haven't looked at a Red book in years . I like the past sales sold from HA.com and Ebay . I never sell but rather like you seek a good rough guide for Coins but mostly Errors .
Hello Coll3ctor, Welcome to our little discussion group. 'Numismatic News' news paper/magazine offers a recent U.S. price list in their 1st of each month publication. You might want to subscribe for 1/2 year and try it out...unfortunately they provide no mintage #'s. J.T.
Numismatic News and Coins Magazine are published by the same people. Coin World also has a US coins and currency price list.
