Fake error nickel

I can't believe ngc actually certified it of course it was body bagged.Do coins like this example actually go for this premium or are these a bunch of bidiots,by fake I mean it's not an actual error the coin is real.

The fact that he just completely ignored what NGC said and went on to list it as "bad strike" is comical. Not sure what's going on with the bids though.

 

The TPG did not certify it. They just bagged and labeled it for what it is.

 

At least somebody's delusions of getting rich quickly were crushed. Regardless, I wouldn't report this listing, these misguided bidders should pay dearly for their lack of knowledge.

 

They are getting rich kind of,over $30 so far.To me its just my two cents .

 

A nice novelty that a TPG actually took the time to put a label on. Would be nice in someones collection of bogus error coins.

Folks spend money to get things slabbed...only it's not slab-worthy to it's bagged and tagged. Then someone uses that to deceive others and make a buck. There are numbers of unscrupulous fellows out there. Then there are the easily duped (and sometimes, not so easily). Eagerness replaces good sense. So there is a market and there are folks without consciences. The two like to meet up on eBay.

 

They generate a label for every coin submitted no matter what the final determination is. You pay for an opinion and that label contains their opinion. Whoever submitted this one paid $30, possibly more, to get the opinion that it is just a damaged coin.

Try using the ignore feature instead of this kind of stuff.

 

I did, took him off because I thought he changed obviously he will never change and im not taking him off ever.

NGC didn’t. They always ship a label mentioning the reason why a coin wasn’t encapsulated. I think that’s pretty good customer service.
