Hi, I have received a few coins that have washed out on the beach near me, and am curious where they are from and if they are worth anything?

    I have :
    • Southern Rhodesia - one penny - 1938 (with the hole)
    • Deutsch Ostafrika - 1 heller - 1907
    • British West Africa – Edward VS VIII Rex Et Ind:Imp – one penny -1936 (with hole in and star diagram)
    • South African – 1D (ship on it) - guys head on other side - 1941
    • Georgivs III Dei Gratia (guys head on it) – In memory of the good old days (Some coat of arms) – 1788
    • One penny 1915 – looks roman, guy sitting with shield and trident – Dei Gra:Brit:Omn: Rex
Any info would be more than welcome :).

    Thanks
    Vanessa

As to value, it would be very minimal. You have identified all but the last 2 and they are from Great Britain.

The next to the last is what is known as a spade guinea token. It was a counting piece either used in games (kind of like we would a poker chip) or as an accounting aid. There are over a thousand different varieties but values are minimal, just a couple dollars apiece.
