Alrighty, so this time not a commemorative This is a 1942 Walking Liberty Half Dollar, that I have had in my collection, sold it, and bought it back again This was part of the original collection, that my dad gave me a few short summers ago hya: The coin isn't the highest grade, and even appears to be cleaned, but I would never sell this coin ever (again) Enjoy! And as always, any opinions are welcome!
Hey T$ It is a fine walker :high5: I enjoy hearing the stories attached to your coin's. It really helps us understand your desire to be a primo numismatist. My guess is that regardless of the quantity or quality of your future coin's, these will be the ones closest to your heart. Keep up the good work. By the way this is my all time favorite series.
I still have the first four coins I started with, all large cents, all culled or holed. I'd never get rid of them, ever.
One of my favorite coins . I have several in various conditions no MS coins but I still love the feel and look of the WLH and have since I wasa kid ! Most are in the WWII years too and you just wonder how many were with our soldiers then . Oh if we only knew the stories behind those coins .
You've given me a good idea for a future thread... Thanks. Thank ya Mark, and of course, always nice to see some of your beauties as well..Especially that new Fugio of yours
T$ I think you have the grade for this coin ( on the money ) :smile Glad to have been a new part of the story LOL
Cool, cool. I got another opinion of fine as well as opposed to your opinion and my opinion of VG8, so it is good to know I am either on the money or too tough on the grading of the coin! Thanks WLhalves
