That's 7 quarters this week and 5 dimes.

The silver upper left is from 2 weeks ago, just haven't put away yet. There's a system, a very poor system.

I should have been more detailed in my description of the proof die reverse, which was inadvertently used for business strikes between 1956 and 1964. The gap/space between the E and S is noticeably separated at the bottom vs. the conventional business die where they essentially touch. The proof die reverse is referred to as a Type B reverse. Those Type B quarters would not considered rare, but are scarce.

    Your description was fine!
I stacked the two '61s i found this week, and you can plainly see the difference, thank you for pointing it out!

That's a '56. I have about 80 loose silver quarters I've found in the past year. I'll have to check the dates and the reverses for that type b.
    Thank you

Make that 22 silver '64 quarters, I've found in circulation, in the past 13 months. Sheesh.

I heard this one. Got away from me in the visuals. Getting harder and harder to catch.

I set simple goals. Silver is too easy, so my weekly goal, is a Buffalo nickel. Every week. This may be the 15th I've found in 13 months, but I've found 79 silver quarters. I'm guessing it's because these are so easy to spot.

Even though it's dateless, that's still a nice type 1 1913 Buffalo! I'd Ni-c-A-Date the reverse to see if had a mint mark!

To worn to tell if it is a 1913 and it doesn't look like a type 1 to me.

I agree. If it was value would be destroyed if you use nicadate on it.

    Couple more things today.
I hit my daily trifecta. Silver quarter (see above), silver dime, (see below), and a cool nickel (see above).
