Chinese silver ingot money? Help w ID Please.

    I’d greatly appreciate any help with ID, year, translation etc. thank you very much in advance. Length is approximately 2 inches.

    From what I understand, many of the fakes have silver outside with a cheap core. I'm sure you don't want to drill it or anything.

    If I am correct, Eastern Zhou. I think I see 東周

    I'm not sure of that. I only know the dynasties.
    I don't have any literature on the subject. I looked onine a little but didn't find one like yours.

    I don’t think it is a sycee due to lack of detail and defined edges like most I’ve seen/handled.

    I don't think anything older than modern would be 99.9% pure.
    So Hong Kong 20th Century sounds plausible.
    If part of it is cut off, it's probably more likely to be authentic!
    I do see "電化純銀..." on the bottom right (as oriented with the circle top).
    Which might be "electrolytically purified silver" or something similar.
    Not something you'd likely see on an ancient piece...
