Greetings people of CT. I saw this coin for sale and wanted to know if this was a legitimate Mint Error? The Reverse, Rotated Db Die looks legitimate to me, but given the vice and hammer jobs I have seen I wanted to run it by the board. What do you all think? Sorry I cannot provide better photos as these were taken from the web. Thank you all.
I wouldn't buy it raw #1 and #2 the pictures are blurry and unfocused which tells me this is click bait and just a normal cent with problems most likely.
Hey Potty $ It already sold. I was curious because I haven't seen many like that one and wanted to know if it was legitimate for future reference.
I doubt it . Unless it's attributed , stay away please . I have many errors but they were from Legitimate sources ( CONECA members) and other people I trust . I haven't bought any lately but if I did , would by Authenticated .
I recommend @ Wexler's Coins and Die Varieties (doubleddie.com) The site has double dies and RPM's among other things .
Agreed they are horrible photos lol. The only thing I could make out was the top left of the memorial. I can see doubling and the angles match running slightly diagonal.
if you do like i do a couple of Jonny Walker doubles and then look at again it looks rather ummm.yeah what he said!
