I think it is because I look like everyone's grand father and yet, ruggedly handsome.

 

Ruggedly handsome - Does that mean that people always walking on you have caused you to be worn and faded with age?

 

Another thing about rugs is the more you beat them the better they look. You don't want to be confused with a rug

A friend used to sell rugs, but he had to stop selling the semi-circle ones. He was tired of being called a D rug dealer

 

Back in the early 80's, one of my regular bar customers owned a sod company, and he mentioned that he was trying to come up with a good saying that he could put on his trucks. I suggested that he use "SOUTHERN HAS GOOD GRASS!" I never did know if he took me up on it.
