Post those in the error forum for some experts to look at them. To me, the 22 is so worn it would be hard to call it a no D, but what do I know? The no date is strange....I mean there is no trace of a date that I can see. How interesting.

How about pocket change? Anyone ever get change back in something silver or get change at your job in silver?

Ive had two silver dimes and one silver quarter handed to me as change to pay for something 1$ or less (I chuckled to myself knowing that I would have accepted only the dime or quarter for this item)
Also was going though the airport about a month ago and bought a smoothie. I was delighted to find a silver dime in my change.

I decided I'm only going to search through boxes of pennies. I'm already up to 550+ wheats. I hate not finding coins when I search.

That is an advantage of searching cents. I usually find a nicely struck 1960's cent (which I keep because I love the look of the 60s cents), or a wheat, or an AU later cent, or an 09 cent, in nearly every roll or every other roll. I always keep a box of cents and will search several rolls after striking out on a box of halves just so that I can feel like I accomplished something, lol.

Finished going through 2 boxes of halves.

Found my first silver in over a year. Looking back on 2009, I think I'm going to have to give up box hunting. I've gone through at least 20 boxes, and only came up with this one silver.

Here's a breakdown of the good stuff from these boxes:
    1965, 2004P(2), 2004D(2), 2005D, 2006P, 2006D(2)

And I only want to keep the silver.

I'd suggest trying to find a different source for those boxes if you can. While my last 4 boxes have all been skunks I have also had some amazing luck this year as well. Some of my best luck has just been stopping by various banks in my area asking for whatever halves they had on hand.

    mrak,

When I just 'pop-in' to a bank and get whatever they have, my success rate has been much higher than from boxes. I've gotten several silvers like that this year. It can just be very time consuming.

    c'est la vie
