i just bought 58 silver dimes.

Hi. I just got a good deal. I bought 58 silver dimes for $58 dollars. The oldest being an 1917. That is my best deal so far. What are some of your best deals? Chris

I got 730 40% silver half dollars and 120 90% half dollars for 50 cents each, you're never going to believe this but the bank just hands them out!

 

I just bought a complete washington quarter set...32-64, all 83 coins, including the 32-D and S, for 270.00 shipped...or 5 dollars under melt.

I got a Jefferson FS coin PCGS MS70 for $608 this past Friday. I also recently got the 1950-1964 Washington quarter Proof set in a capitol holder for $162 and the 2001 Buffalo Proof/Unc set for $254.

Nothing as good as Nightowl's deal, but I'm happy.

EDIT: I almost forgot...a while back I purchased a raw 1773 Virginia Half Cent for $427. Joe (jaceravone) sent it to NGC for me and it came back MS62...NGC insured its return for $1200. Not too shabby!

 

There are a lot of deals out there. 2 days ago I picked up a set of mercs...missing the 16-D only...for 150.00.

I also picked up an 1897-S Barber half in F-12 but with some obverse scratches...for 7.64. That's the good news. The bad news...is that I had to take the other 16 coins too....also at 7.64 each. Guess it could have turned out worse.
