No point. Just think it is a cool coin.

Gotcha. Including that little tidbit in your original post would go a long way in members responses. Leaving it open ended the way you did only fuels questions as to your intent of the thread. Nothing wrong with posting something you like, just be a little more upfront about it.

Stick with us Nathan. There's a bunch of great people here and they are willing to help. When I first started, I had to learn how to get the information I needed.
My dad left my brother and I over 300 1943 cents. Most of them were in great shape, but there were a few I just tossed. Best of luck.

Ok. I thank you for the words of encouragement. I know that what I see can't be but let's just say for information purposes how much would a 1943 steel wheat cent over a 1938 buffalo nickel be worth? I know it's not possible... just a hypothetical. Would it be worth anything?

hey @Nathan Kristan yea I do see what your seeing now. the spot that looks like an eye ball creates the whole image. that would have been great info in your first couple of posts. I'm not meaning any disrespect to anyone but some guys here at CT tend to talk loud in situations like you received in your original posting. its better all the way around to give a little to much info than not enough. hope you stick around. and as far as you not having great equipment, practice taking pictures will always help, regardless of the equipment. good luck to ya man.....

No worries. They hurt most days. Sucks getting old and I paid a good bit for lasik and can't focus on anything closer then my out stretched arm. But who's complaining.

I thank the man upstairs for great vision myself. I've heard good things from lasik patients though. Maybe it will get better. We can hope at least.
