I agree with Ryo, it looks FAKE, especially with the irregular surfaces . Pictured below is a genuine solidus from my collection, Sear #734. The coin posted by J.H. looks like a FAKE of Sear 738.

I agree that the coin does look weird by itself, but when you compare it to @Al Kowsky's example, the differences are pretty obvious. Nice coin, by the way, Al.
