Very interesting and exciting find out of a penny box I was going through.

I believe I found a 1903 Misplaced Date variety, specifically MPD-007 (FS-302) in the CherryPicker's Guide or 1903 Snow-6. I was happy enough to get another Indian Head cent from a roll, as I do not come by them often, but was even more excited to see it being an awesome error, and one I do not have any of at the moment! I am also happy with the condition the coin is in. It isn't in the best shape, but is much better than the majority of Indian cents I have pulled from rolls in the past.

I don't remember exactly how long it has been since I found my last one. I would say it has been at least a year at this point personally, but that doesn't mean it will take others that long to find one, lots of possible factors to account for.

According to the Cherrypickers guide, it says that it is likely a 0.

I think it looks more like a piece of a 3. Both are on that date. I wonder what Rick Sow thinks.
