very nice pickup connor! thats a great addition! I too love the older large size notes. Not for the size, but for what was on them!

 

I like the vignettes in the larger formate that the Large size notes display.

 

Wanted $300 for the $20 Fr-971 but got it for $265 ,it's raw so who knows how I did ?

 

Ohhhh I like that $50 Glass note!!

I have been gaining interest in the large size FRN's recently, but I have a few other missions to complet first. Don't wanna spread myself too thin. HA! I don't think I've ever been called too thin!!LOL I'm getting off subject and rambling..nice notes and the $20-WOW that is one high grade note!

 

I had to keep in the budget & go for the lower grade but it's a Glass !

 

Connor.. as you know I have the full type set of Large Size Blue Seals, lowest graded note is a AU58 for the $20 and $50 the rest are 64s and 65s...
This is a beautiful set regardless of what condition! The Glass notes are special in every regard!

Congrats and you should be proud of any note you add to your collection regardless of grade!
It's a beauty!!

That full type set FRN Large Size Blue Seal is an unbelievable accomplishment in & of itself & the high grades you have searched for must have taken years !

Still had to settle for the San Fran $100 cuz our NY Notes are really hard to find in CHCU with Burke/MacAdoo..they are out there, but buried deep in collections that will never come to market in my lifetime...:crying:

And this one sold for a pinch over $103K

WOW !!!! 103K :hammer: I'm drooling on my keyboard,I'm sticking w/ my $100 type FRN Large Size dream for now. Those notes if you could afford would never come to auction in my lifetime I bet !

 

Very nice pick ups Connor!!! I really like the back vignette of that 50 dollars note.

Lou,this isn't mine ...obviously,but you can see the back better in this example,one of my favorites also with Panama in the center vignette.

Finally found a $100 FRN-FR-1090 (NY) that I could afford !This is the dealers scan he sent before I got it ,I'll re-scan it,it's much brighter then this bad scan.
