How many of you peek at your TPG grades online before they arrive in the mail? PCGS has a fine tuned order tracking system on the Internet. When they grade your coin, they notify you that the grades are available online. Of course, you can go online & peek at that grade a week before the coin arrives. I personally never (almost never) peek. I peeked at my very first submission but never peeked on subsequent submissions. I treat it like a Christmas present & I want to have the thrill & surprise when I open the present on Christmas morning. Today I peeked. I have been waiting for the package to arrive for a week and it didn’t arrive in Friday’s mail. I’m going to a coin show this weekend & I really want to know what the TPG did. So I peeked. Here is what I got: Newfoundland 1885 10 cent (rare date) XF45 Canada 1895 1 cent MS63RB Great Britain 1797 two penny AU55BN I’ll take a photo when I get the coin back. Oh heck yeah ! I'm a PCGS peeker ! Gotta know. I think that's cool, and I can definitely understand the thrill of "opening the present".
