Zero silver in the last four boxes of halves. Today stopped by a Wells Fargo on my way home and got $21 in halves. $20 of which was a full roll of nothing but 1964 BU coins. I'd Gladly accept the box strike-outs if this could keep up.

    Congrats mrak! Awesome find.

We need some karma for Erin, 12 shutout boxes in a row.......arggggg, indeed!

I went to several banks to get loose halves and went through one box yesterday.....no silver.

Went through 590$ in bank rolled halves yesterday, found 6 keepers.

    2 x 2004
    1 x 2005
    2 x 67
and the most worn out coin I have ever seen (not complaining :D) I'm not even sure it would make AG.

    A Barber!!!

Congrats. Great, great find. Did you gasp for air when you saw it?

    That barber is incredible!

Got a new box of halves yesterday, found 1 1968D in the first roll I opened and 3 1969D BU in the second roll. Opened another 10 rolls with nothing else yet, other than a filthy proof.

Finding a barber is always cool no matter the condition. ....and sure I like the filthy proofs too.

Question: what's everyone doing with their 2002 and up finds? I have a ton of each year through 2009. Probably have a third of a box worth of '09's which is more than I need to keep.

I went through 6 cent rolls today and ended up with 4 wheats, a 1918, 1919,1934 and a 1954 D. I found three or four Canadian cents and a coin from New Zealand. It apears nickel, 1996 and on the reverse it has an Iguana? and says 5. It looks pretty cool.

Stopped at 3 banks....$120 of customer rolled halfs at the first one.....

Box of halves at the 2nd one (will go through both of these later),

And $3 worth at the third bank including one 1936D Walker :D :) :D

Now, if my box is a shutout (most of them have been lately), I'll still feel great about getting a walker today (even though it is extremely worn).

Not even $100 in nickels today and unbelievable finds!!!!!

20 buffaloes in 1 roll!!!
    1 1923
    1 1925
    1 1926
    1 1930
    2 1935's
    3 1936's
the rest were worn flat, i gotta put nitric acid on em, but still for five cents... and in ONE roll!

Also a very intriguing roll that can be rolled into different sizes from pennies to dollars, i gotta post a pic of em =P... anyone else find themselves collecting coll wrappers they run across?

My find of the day: a 1939 'D' nickel in MS-65!!!!! The stairs are still visible!:eek::yawn:

I also found a rolls or 2 of very clean and detailed 1950's nickels and 1960's too!!

I cant wait for the next batch of em!

What do you guys ask for when you go to the bank to get rolls of pennies. Do you ask for circulated pennies rolls or what?

I just for the quantity I want $25 for a box or $50 for a bag. I deal with 7 banks that is counting the branches it is only 5 different banks and none of them care how many cent rolls I buy, the sasme with dimes or nickels but none want to fool with Halves the onews that will buy them for me tell me not to bring them back to them so I take them to the branches that want get any for me. Anyway the short answer is just ask for cent rolls.
