Hello my furry paper money friends....how are you guys doing over here.

I have a question that I may have asked once before, but can't remember the answer. Is there any value for a $20 star note in UNC condition with a low number <30,000k? This is one is of the new $20 design, not the old ones.

    Thanks.

Depends on the series date, district and condition of the note. A large part of a percieved value depends on the overall number printed as well. If there were only 320,000 notes printed, then yes, there is a premium for that note. On any generic note however, a serial number doesnt get low enough to fecth a premium based on that alone until you are below the 999 mark. I like to collect any $1 note with 3 or more 0's, but you need a pretty low number to cash in on a premium unless there are alot of 0's :)

    hope that helps!

Sorry forgot to post the note....here ya go. I may have posted this some time ago, but my memory is a bit foggy. Any thoughts on additional value. Just trying to determine if I need to keep it or sell it.

I would keep it - i like keeping 1's with 3 or mroe zeros, but dont see any higher denoms very often lol

Your note was printed in december 2005, and had a total printing of 2,304,000. Not a really small total, but not a large one either. Again, i would keep it, but wouldnt see much of a premium for it, at least not for a while.
