they say it it isn't real but it has to be i have been searching for a while now on the value but can't find one they say it's a half dollar but on it says dollar how do i find out how much it's worth.it has a funny color it's lighter than the other silver dollars i have i have a 1964 dime thats the same color.
I believe Doug had one a few years ago that he posted......not the coin off course....just a picture......or at least thats what he wants us to believe anyway. :whistle: Could be a fantasy piece too.....keep that in mind. Not all coins are real.

I admit, I did. The ignorance of America's coinage older than about 1982 is great in the general populace, and especially the young. I would rather be fooled than not help bring someone else into the hobby. Jim
In my conversations with non collectors, I find that most are aware of the cent composition change in 1943, 1982,the removal of silver coinage in 1965, state quarters. Even though I show them the new Lincoln 2009 cents, almost none are aware of it. I chose 1982 as a relative point. Most don't know the actual dates, such as 1943, 1965,1982, etc. , just the changes. I think the zinc Lincolns are known because of various tv and articles when copper was reaching highs, telling people to collect pre-1982 cents and hoard them. IMO. Jim
