    It will and probably already has. Just think of the HSN victims and their heirs when they attempt to sell their coins: a flood of people that will tell everyone in sight what a ripoff coin collecting is.

    Mike 'the mouth' Mezak pushes the limit of caveat emptor to the nth degree. He's a sleazebag with the gift of gab. What he peddles is legal, for sure, but that doesn't make him ethical. His mother should be ashamed of him.

    Probably not when you consider that when he got them they could probably have been had for $300 maybe less. And today he might break even, if you ignore the time value of money loss while he has been holding them.

    Been going on for decades, and before the cable TV hucksters we were telling the same thing to people who bought from Littleton, the Bradford Exchange, National Historical Society, Franklin Mint and many other similar marketers. Dealer tells them what their "treasures" are really worth and it's the DEALER who is trying to rip them off in their eyes.
