I just bought this proof coin because it has a "bug" on it for my "coins with insects" collection. It is not for sale.

Last coin I posted across the pond took about a week by the cheapest method I could send it. Untracked, unsigned etc. It's a circulating UK coin so your most likely source is the UK.

I've checked my spares but don't have one of these. @PaddyB might have one?

I am sure I have some somewhere, although I haven't seen any in change for a while. The ones I have will be from circulation, so far from perfect.
Like everyone else, we suffer from the postage system across the Atlantic. In theory one should get through in a week, but things have a habit of disappearing into nowhere - most usually the customs house. I have all but given up selling on Ebay now - not only because of all the extra costs that get piled on, but also the huge number of fakes and fraudulent dealers on there.
If you, @cplradar are still after one, PM me and I will see what we can do.

Germany is different than the UK. I have had coins from Germany take months, but usually get coins from the UK in a week or two.

I have bought coins through ebay and have never had a problem. I don't buy from other countries, other than Canada. I bought almost all of my ebay coins, certified, either by NGC or PCGS. I only have one coin from ICG and another by SEGS. They were both Franklin Half Dollars and were graded MS 65. Both of them are beauts. I didn't buy a coin from Coin Talk on purpose. I didn't find out until later that he is on Coin Talk. He is a great person and collector. I guess it depends on what you buy and who you are buying from. I was an auditor for North Carolina for over 30 years. During the time that I was in college, I worked for a furniture store as an assistant credit manager which is another word for "bill collector." Based on my experience as a bill collector and state auditor, I learned to evaluate the mercandise and the people. Some times I had to be a real "B*st**d" and I am still very careful who I deal with. I wish the best for all of you. This site is a real eye opener. Thanks to all of you for the information you have given me.
