Looks like a motorcycle logo on the ships wheel. Is it copper?

@paddyman98 Nice 2 hours! So I took your recommendation and picked up the 440 detector...spent about 20 minutes trying to figure out the settings for sensitivity and a quick sweep adjacent to the driveway. Is it hypersensitive at the default setting? Seems like it was picking up trace minerals in spots...can't imagine I have that much buried treasure about the yard. That said, a dime, a nickel, and 2 copper cents...one being a 1933 LWC.

Just curious: Was there a reason for retaining the nut and washer?

That medallion may be old Detroit Red Wings. Even looks like it's in an NHL shaped shield.
    Something like this?

@paddyman98, you found this in the boogie down? You need to find the original owner of this, and kick them in the butt for leaving that on hallowed ground, lol.

    Here you go.

That's it! Thanks for solving the mystery.
You can see on the back where the 2 pins once were.

I live where the X is on the map!
I detect on the Northern side. But the park is currently under renovation so I can't get to about half of it because it is fenced off.

The winged wheel is the emblem of the US Army Transportation Corps.

The one here looks like it is from an officer's uniform.
