Looks like at least a double strike but the outline at base to back of head is confusing. And are those the initials just outside loop in 5 of the date? I came across a 25c a few weeks back that showed a double strike is why I'm thinking the same for this dime at the least. Even the eye appears to be duplicated I think but need help. Thanks again
Lucky 13 No double strike there.. By the way. Are you searching for Doubled Die varieties? A Doubled Die has absolutely nothing at all with it being struck twice.
+14 I'm afraid. Also you seen to be under the impression that doubled dies come from the coin being struck twice. That is far from the truth.
From Wiki Why is 13 called a Bakers Dozen? According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the term "baker's dozen" originated in the late 16th century and is "apparently so called after the former practice among bakers of including a thirteenth loaf when selling a dozen to a retailer, the extra loaf representing the retailer's profit." comer es la mejor parte
