I did not buy Any coins in Feb.

However, I did receive a selection of coins from the extremely generous @Clavdivs, including this really nice Licinius I, with a very interesting T-in-wreath in left field.

Tough one for me, as February was a rich month.
Although I added, among others, the one from my avatar and a Divus Verus Consecration denarius I like a lot, the winner is the coin that made me participate in the auction.

Tough one, because I purchased some coins I really love. But this one is the coolest, because it features a scene from the gigantomachy on its reverse!

Wow, another great month... that Marsyas is awesome, as is the anguipede giant, the dolphin & rider, and the portrait of Vologases VI!

Probably my favourite Feb. coin is this Arab-Sasanian pashiz of al-Hajjaj b. Yusuf, (694-713) showing a praying Muslim with huge hands on the reverse (popular & scarce type):
    al-hajaj b. yusuf.jpg

... but I suspect most of you would prefer this 2nd century provincial from Hierapolis in Phrygia!

(Actually now that I think about it more, it's impossible for me to choose between these two.)
