    A have a 1947 S/S RPM: FS-501 MS65+ Quarter. I would like to find out what all of that means and where can I find a reference to it? I know all of you know what it is, but I don't know where to look. Thanks folks.

    That's the Horizontal S under the S. It's much better than a die chip. :)
