My skin still hurts. And I've got a bit of vertigo but I think the worst is over.

 

I got my first Pfizer vaccine yesterday. So far nothing but a sore arm. And I was surprised at how quick it was. The prep work took longer than the shot, which I barely felt. And here I had been dreading it.

 

I got my second shot on the 16th (Moderna).
I need to get my second Shingrix shot (Shingles) but I'll wait for the COVID shot to completely do its thing -- 2 more weeks.

 

I am so sorry. But glad that the worst is over. The bright side is that it shows that you had a strong immune response, following the pattern among people I know of strong reactions to the second shot for younger people, and minor reactions for those over 60.

 

My wife and I received our 2nd shot this morning also, glad to have it done. Now we wait for any side effects to appear, hope not. Good luck to all, be safe, get the shots.

I had both Pfizer shots a few weeks ago and was told to expect a reaction on the second one, especially if you have a better immune system. Well, I'm still waiting 3 weeks later. Nothing. I didn't even feel anything from where I had the shot.
Does that mean I can't buy a Victory Coin?

My second shot knocked me on butt the next day. 100'4 fever, chills and a sore arm, shoulder, and side of neck. Still worth it!

It is nice to read about so many people getting the COVID-19 vaccinations - hopefully that will lead to many lives saved and much misery avoided. Beverly and I got our Moderna two stage vaccinations in early January of this year (because of age related priority plus pre-existing medical conditions - diabetes and kidney malfunction for me and coronary disease for Beverly). The first shot was easy for both of us: very mild reaction. Beverly did not do well after the second shot for three days - the same reaction that many others here have reported. Other than a sore arm for one day I had no problem - that despite them adding a Shingles shot for good measure!

It sure was great to be able to hug and talk face-to-face with our family members and friends after a year of house quarantine!

They just opened up vaccinations to people 75+ in our county. So, it'll be a while before I get mine.

I got my second shot (Pfizer) a week ago. Had some pain in the arm after the first shot, barely any pain after the second. I'm very glad to have gotten the vaccine, and urge everyone to get vaccinated as soon as they are eligible in their area.

I had my first Moderna about a week ago at a drive through clinic through a local fire department. First couple of days I just had minor swelling/soreness at injection site and slight chills. Then, Tuesday I had two lymph nodes swell up on the injection side in my neck and under the armpit. They're almost back to normal now but the injection site has started itching a bit and I wonder if that's a sign I might be about to develop "Moderna Arm" Knowing that in a little over a month it'll be safe to visit my coin collector friends and family again and attend the next local coin show it is well worth it.

We had our shots in January and February. Sore arms for several days for both. It was recommended after our second shot to take Tylenol or Ibuprofen that evening. We did so, and nary a problem the next day, other than a relatively minor sore arm. We were also advised ahead of time not to take a pain reliever before the second shot. Everything worked out fine. Hope everyone who gets a flu shot with no problem will agree to get the COVID-19 vaccine. More shots, more coverage and sooner we can get to open up again.
