Circulation find I NEVER expect anymore

    My wife manages a retail store that does incredibly low cash business. Most purchases are tendered via CC and/or insurance. I say this because she doesn't really open all that many coin rolls weekly.

    Well today was one of those rare times she needed to break open a cent roll. It was a BWR so what she found was certainly unexpected. Mrs swimmer isn't a coin collector, but she's been married to one for 36 years. So she knows the drill. :)

    Upon opening the roll she's smacked in the face with a plethora of 'old coins'. She saw almost a whole roll of wheaties. 33 to be exact. She replaced the 33¢ with her own change and brought the cache home.

    From left to right: 1919, 1920, 3x30's, 8x40's, 19x50's, and on the bottom a lone 1909.

    I hesitated flipping it over while I explained what we were now looking for on the reverse to Mrs swimmer. Holding my breath I flipped it over.....

    I can see VF30 maybe VF35.

    Thoughts are welcome.

    Find a place that has pandemic approved patio dining, Mrs. Swimmer deserves a night out on the town !!

    Wow, and out of a bank roll too! Makes me wonder what was in the rest of the box... :eek:

    Yeah, it's been over a year since dining out for us. Pre pan we were a twice a week dine out couple. We're ready to break loose again!

    I'll tell her you threw down the gauntlet on this one ;)

    33 not bad i at least find 10 per box or so and I thought that was pretty good.

    A lot of people are short on cash and breaking open the piggybanks. Or, dumping those penny jars.
